Edinburgh Property Assistant

Role Responsibilities:
  • Supporting two Property Managers with day-to-day tasks in and out of the office
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
  • Assisting customers who visit the office
  • Entering and maintaining data in our in-house system
  • Scheduling and undertaking viewings
  • Scheduling and undertaking inspections in conjunction with the Property Manager
  • Undertaking and writing up inventories
  • Creating property adverts and managing the responses
  • Dealing with questions and issues from landlords and tenants
  • Scheduling cleaning and maintenance
  • Preparing tenancy documentation
  • Carrying out tenant referencing
  • Chasing up late rents
  • Filing and archiving
  • Assisting with social media and the company newsletter
  • Emergency phone cover (on a rota basis)
  • Assisting the team with any further administrative support they require
Person Specification:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team at pace
  • Shows initiative and shares ideas
  • Flexible, responsive and enthusiastic approach
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Willing to learn
  • Full clean driving licence (at least two years’ experience for insurance)
Qualifications Required:

None

Other Experience:

Specific experience of the Property Management Industry isn’t required, but you will have exceptional customer service skills as well as a strong desire to learn.

Reporting Line:

You will report to our Long Term Property Manager.

Salary:

Starting salary of £18000, depending on experience

Hours of Work:

Hours of work are 09.00-17.30 Monday-Friday, with some weekend work required on a rota basis and during busy periods.

Holidays:

30 days’ annual leave (including public holidays)

Research And Reporting Assistant

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast growing Edinburgh based Glamping Brand. As a Research and Reporting Assistant you will be completing feasibility studies for our clients who are considering starting a Glamping business. You will be researching information and then creating reports based on what you find.

Skills:
-Confident in researching information
-Experienced in creating and writing reports
-Attention to detail
-Excellent time/self management
-Potential to complete copywriting in other areas of the business
-Ability to work to SLAs

Administrative Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast growing Edinburgh based Glamping Brand. As an Administrative Assistant you will be completing all administrative tasks for Glampitect and North Coast 500 Pods. You will be supporting numerous teams within the company so we would like someone with previous administrative experience and who is comfortable with a busy workload.

Role:

-Management of emails from numerous mailboxes
-Management and screening of calls (Glampitect & North Coast 500 Pods)
-Liaison with clients
-Assist with creating and sending invoices to clients
-Assist with sending information out to clients
-Create new and update existing projects within system
-Keeping client database up to date
-Procurement order for office
-Sorting through mail
-Liaise with stakeholders for North Coast 500 Pods
-Any other general Administrative tasks required

Skills Required:

-Previous administrative experience
-Comfortable and able to prioritise a busy workload
-Ability to work to SLAs
-Experienced with Microsoft Office applications
-Proactive in day to day tasks
-Experienced with managing phone calls with stakeholders

As a Feasibility expert you will be completing feasibility studies for our clients who are considering starting a Glamping business. You will be researching information and then creating reports based on what you find.

Letting Negotiator & Property Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast growing Edinburgh based letting agency who are currently looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. Their Edinburgh team is on the lookout for a new member!

This role will encompass responsibilities of a Letting Negotiator & Property Manager. Duties include:

– Responding to initial enquiries through various letting portals

 – Taking phone and email enquiries and booking viewings

 – Processing applications for new tenancies

 – Carrying out the appropriate vetting procedure for potential clients

 – Negotiating lets on new and existing properties with potential tenants on behalf of property owners

 – Marketing all properties online

 – Organising marketing pictures for new opportunities

 – Dealing with check-ins including keys, inventories and landlords

 – Organising for a Field Agent to be on site on moving dates

 – Organising pre-market inspections and in-house property inspections 

– Providing a point of contact in relation to any maintenance issues 

– Costing / negotiating with relevant suppliers

– Monthly / annual gas safety checks

– Electrical system /appliance safety checks
